My biggest gripe is the UI of many of these tools. They can be clunky and not intuitive, which kinda defeats the purpose.
Integration with dictation software would be a game changer for summarizing records on the fly.
Been experimenting with a few open-source AI summarizers. The results are promising but still need some manual tweaking. Nothing beats human review yet.
Honestly I think these AI tools are best used as assistants rather than full replacements. They speed up the process but you gotta stay sharp.
Performance varies a lot depending on the quality of the original records. Messy notes can confuse the AI big time.
I started using an AI tool a few months ago for summarizing patient records and it really saved me tons of time! It catches the main points pretty well but sometimes it misses subtle details, so I still double-check everything.
I found that AI summaries sometimes miss narrative nuances that are important for diagnosis. Still a bit early days for full automation.
Not a huge fan of most tools out there yet. The summaries sometimes feel too generic, like they lack context that a human would catch. Maybe they're better for simpler cases.
One thing I really like is how some AI tools help with extracting key meds and allergies quickly. Saves a lot of scrolling through notes.
Overall, these tools are evolving fast. Just gotta find the right fit for your workflow and keep an eye out for updates.
Some tools integrate directly with EHR systems which is super helpful but also raises some privacy questions. Anyone thought about that?
Has anyone tried AI tools with voice input for summaries? Wondering if that's reliable or just a gimmick.
I started using one that highlights changes between records which is super helpful to catch updates or new issues.
Anyone know if these AI tools work well across different languages or are they mostly English-based?
