Hey folks, I've been reading up on those AI tools that help detect skin cancer early. Some say they're super accurate, others worry about missing stuff. Wanted to hear what ya'll think or if anyone's had experience with these techs?

Would be cool if these AI tools got integrated with regular checkups, like an extra layer of protection.
I guess these tools won't replace doctors but could really help catch issues early when used properly.
I've actually tried one of those apps that scan moles. It caught a few weird spots which my doc then checked out. Pretty cool tech if you ask me!
I think it's great how AI can help reach people in remote areas who might not easily access dermatologists.
Some of these AI screening tools use deep learning and have shown pretty strong results in studies. It's exciting tech that could save lives!
I trust my dermatologist more than an app, but I see the potential for these tools as a first line of defense.
The speed of AI screening is impressive, getting results in seconds compared to waiting days for lab results.
I heard you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools in this space, they have some good roundups!
Sometimes the AI flags things that are obviously harmless; can be annoying.
I worry these AI tools might sometimes give false alarms and cause unnecessary stress. Not sure if they're ready to replace actual screenings.
