ChatGPT 4 est-il capable de naviguer sur Internet ?

I tried asking ChatGPT 4 about recent news and it didn’t know any of it, so that tells you something.

I wonder if the API lets developers hook up web search with GPT 4, that would be neat.

Just don’t expect it to replace a search engine, it’s more like a smart assistant with info up to 2023 or so.

Can anyone confirm if ChatGPT 4 with plugins can search the web or is that just rumors?

It’s kind of confusing but basically no, it can’t browse the internet like Google does.

I heard if you use ChatGPT with certain integrations it can pull info from the web, but normal chat doesn’t do it.

If you want a chatbot that searches the web live, try Bing chat or Google Bard instead.

Nope, ChatGPT 4 isn't connected to live web search stuff. It’s all based on the info it was trained with up to a certain date.

So basically ChatGPT 4 alone just can’t do web surfing, you need extra stuff for that.

I think ChatGPT 4 doesn't really browse the web like a browser, it just generates answers based on training data.
