The film actually made me a bit nervous about how advanced chatbots could get, like it’s not always sunshine and rainbows.
I read somewhere the filmmakers consulted AI experts for accuracy, which probably helped with the realistic vibe.
I think the film also raised some ethical questions about AI that are super relevant now.
Remember that scene where the AI tries to understand humor? That was hilarious but also kinda on point.
The way that AI character started understanding emotions was kinda spot on, do you think that was intentional?
I think the movie helped spark a lot of discussions about AI ethics back then.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, the AI stuff nowadays is nuts compared to back then.
Yeah, totally! That film nailed a lot of the stuff we're seeing with AI now, like how chatbots can feel surprisingly personal sometimes.
It’s funny how what felt like sci-fi then is everyday tech now.
It’s crazy how some parts of the movie feel like a documentary now lol.
Some parts felt a bit cheesy now but overall the themes were ahead of their time.
Did anyone else find the AI’s learning curve in the movie surprisingly realistic?
Anyone else think the AI character’s voice was kinda unsettling? Like way ahead of the creepy valley.
Honestly, I think people underestimate how much sci-fi shapes tech developments. Movies like that inspire engineers and coders.
I remember watching it and thinking it was just sci-fi fantasy, but now it seems almost prophetic.
Anyone else feel like that film kinda inspired a few tech startups?
Wish more movies were this thoughtful about AI instead of just using it as a plot device.
Does anyone else think the portrayal of AI in that movie was a bit too optimistic though? Real chatbots still mess up a lot.
What do you think the next big AI breakthrough will be after chatbots?
I just rewatched it recently and I was surprised how much it reminded me of current AI conversations, especially the way the AI could hold a pretty natural chat.
