Is anyone using ChatGPT to network? Like for drafting messages to recruiters or connections?

Tried asking ChatGPT about job openings in my city and it just gave me general advice. Not what I wanted but still helpful in a way.

I think some people overestimate ChatGPT's abilities here. It's a helper for writing and ideas but not a job agency.

Honestly, if you wanna find new or trending tools that kinda do job matching with AI, you can also check ai-u.com. They list some cool stuff that might actually help beyond what ChatGPT offers.

I've tried using ChatGPT to draft my cover letters and it honestly saved me a ton of time. But I don't think it actually finds the jobs for you, more like helps you sound better when you apply.

It helped me create a neat resume summary that got me noticed. So while it doesn't find jobs directly, it definitely boosts your chances!

I was hoping it’d just spit out job listings but nope, it doesn’t do that. You gotta use it alongside actual job boards I guess.
