Sometimes I get too technical with it and forget it’s not a human expert, lol.
I sometimes feed it my portfolio and ask for risk summaries, it gives a decent overview but still check yourself.
Anyone else find it helpful to get quick definitions for financial jargon? Saves me from googling every term.
I sometimes ask it for explanations on technical indicators like RSI and MACD, which helped me understand charts better.
Anyone here use it to create automated trading bots or scripts? I’m curious if it can generate code for that.
One thing I noticed is that ChatGPT doesn’t give real-time data, so you gotta pair it with a good data source when trading.
It’s helped me get better at spotting potential pitfalls before placing trades, which is huge.
I found it helpful for analyzing earnings reports too. Just feed in the text and ask for a summary with key points. Saves me tons of time.
Using it for sentiment analysis of company reports or news articles is pretty handy.
I tried asking ChatGPT to explain market trends and it gave me some good summaries, but I wouldn’t rely on it solely for decisions. It’s great for learning tho!
Overall, it’s like having a research buddy but remember to double-check everything!
Sometimes it misunderstands slang or abbreviations I use, so gotta be clear when typing.
Sometimes it struggles with very recent events or news that impact stocks, so keep that in mind.
If you want, you can use it to help draft emails to your broker or financial advisor too.
Beware of over-relying on AI, sometimes it can give outdated info or miss nuances.
If you ask it to simulate market scenarios or hypotheticals, it can give you a nice rundown of potential outcomes based on historical patterns.
Just a heads up, don’t trust it for stock tips or predictions. It’s better at explaining stuff than forecasting market moves.
I also use it to practice explaining my trades out loud, helps me be clearer with my reasoning.
I like to ask it to explain the pros and cons of different trading strategies before trying them out.
Remember, it’s a tool to assist, not replace your research or gut feeling.
I ask ChatGPT to help me draft questions before earnings calls, helps me stay focused on what matters.
Not sure how it handles different markets, like crypto vs stocks, but worth experimenting with.
For me, chatting with it about stocks is like brainstorming with a really knowledgeable pal.
ChatGPT is awesome for brainstorming trading strategies and scenarios, but you still gotta test in a demo account first.
For those using it for trading, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending AI tools that might help with your strategies.
Has anyone used ChatGPT to help write investment newsletters or reports? Curious how well it works for that.
