Not gonna lie, I was a bit skeptical but ChatGPT surprised me. It suggested some strong action verbs I never thought about using.
I found that giving ChatGPT examples of resumes I like helps it generate better stuff.
Yeah, I gave it a shot last month and honestly, it helped me tighten up the language and make my skills pop a bit more. Still had to tweak some stuff tho, so don't expect it to do everything perfectly.
Anyone know if ChatGPT can help with ATS optimization for resumes? Like, making sure it gets picked up by bots?
I used it to help format my resume too. It gave me ideas on how to organize sections better.
If you want to stand out, don't just let AI write everything. Use it as a base but add your own flair.
Honestly, sometimes I think it overdoes the fancy wording and makes it sound kinda fake. Keep it simple, folks.
I wonder if anyone has tried getting ChatGPT to write a resume from a messy LinkedIn profile?
I tried it but ended up with a resume that sounded kinda generic. You gotta feed it really specific info to get something unique.
Honestly, I feel like using AI for resumes is the future. It's just getting better every year.
ChatGPT helped me highlight achievements I forgot were important. Good for reminding you what to include.
Has anyone tried using it for resumes in other languages? Curious how well it works.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they sometimes have some cool helpers for resumes.
It saved me loads of time when I was applying for jobs last winter, no doubt about that.
One thing I hate is when it tries too hard to sound formal. I want a resume that sounds like me, not a robot.
Does anyone know if it can help with cover letters as well? Would be awesome to get some help there.
Sometimes it adds stuff that sounds impressive but isn't true, so watch out for that!
