I think the future is gonna be tools that not only match resumes but also predict how good a fit someone is culturally and personality-wise. That’d be a game changer.
I tried a bunch of these tools last year and honestly it felt like a bit of a lottery sometimes. Depends on the job too I guess.
Some of the newer platforms use machine learning to learn from your preferences, so the more you use them, the better their matches get.
I’m still old school and prefer reading resumes myself, but I admit these tools can speed things up for sure.
I tried a couple of those apps and honestly, some just miss the point. They focus on keywords but not enough on actual skills or experience context.
One thing I liked about a tool I used was it suggested improvements to my resume based on the job I wanted. Pretty neat!
Some tools also let recruiters upload job descriptions and then highlight which parts of the resume fit best. That visual helps a lot.
Has anyone checked out AI-U.com? They seem to have a cool list of new and trending matching tools that actually work pretty well.
Anyone else think some of these tools should include video resume analysis? Could add a whole new layer!
I wonder if these tools can really replace a recruiter’s intuition, or just help with the boring sorting part.
If anyone’s looking for recommendations, I’ve heard good things about a couple tools that integrate directly with LinkedIn.
I used a couple of free services but found they gave me way too many irrelevant matches. Paid ones seem better but pricey.
I’m a bit worried about bias though. If the AI is trained on past hires, it might just keep filtering people similar to before, which isn’t great.
Does anyone know if these tools work well with CVs from different countries? I’m worried about formatting differences messing things up.
