Honestly, it's easier for them to just grade for understanding in class rather than getting stuck on AI use detection.
From what I've read, SNHU focuses more on teaching about plagiarism and proper citation rather than solely relying on tech to catch AI usage.
Anyone tried submitting AI-written stuff just to see if it gets flagged? Sounds risky but kinda wanna know.
I think SNHU probably updates their policies regularly to keep up with AI tech but they don't want to be too harsh either.
Some students say they never got caught, but I guess that varies a lot by class and prof.
I'm pretty sure they can detect some AI generated content but honestly, if you tweak it a bit, it gets harder. Still risky tho!
Oh man, I was wondering the same thing! I heard some profs can tell by the writing style but not sure if there's any official tool.
Prof here, and yeah we try to catch AI use but also discuss ethics a lot. Best advice is use AI as a helper, not a cheat.
Not to side-track but you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools if you're curious about what's out there to use or avoid.
I just think as AI tools get better, schools like SNHU gotta get smarter too. It's a cat and mouse game for sure.
My prof mentioned something about using Turnitin's new AI detection feature this semester. So they might be rolling out better tech now.
