I tried dictating directly into Claude on desktop but it doesn’t pick up mic input sadly.

Honestly, it would be awesome if Claude could just listen to your voice memo and transcribe it itself. Then the AI could analyze it directly! Fingers crossed for that feature.

Using Google Recorder app works great for transcribing voice memos automatically and saving as text to use with Claude.

I usually just play my voice memo aloud and use the speech-to-text feature on my phone to capture it as text, then paste it in Claude. A bit manual but gets the job done.

You can use some speech-to-text apps to convert your voice memo to text and then copy it into Claude AI. Works pretty well for me!

Wish Claude had a feature to auto transcribe voice memos internally to make the workflow smoother.

I've tried uploading audio files directly, but Claude AI doesn't seem to recognize them. I guess it only works with text input?

Sometimes I just type out quick notes after listening rather than transcribing fully. Faster for me.

Sometimes the background noise messes up transcription, so make sure your voice memo is clear before converting.

I found some third-party tools that integrate voice memos and AI, but not directly with Claude. So it’s kinda a workaround.

If your voice memo is on iPhone, Siri shortcuts can automate transcription and then you can feed that text into Claude.

Anyone else think integrating voice memo transcription would make Claude super popular for daily work stuff?

Does anyone know if Claude supports voice input on mobile apps? I couldn’t find any option so far.
