The best results come when you give it really detailed instructions. Vague prompts just get you junk.
I love how it can generate multiple versions of a clause quickly so you can pick the best fit.
Sometimes I worry it might hallucinate legal facts or rules. Has anyone noticed that?
I’m curious, does anyone know if you can train or fine-tune ChatGPT with your own legal documents to improve accuracy?
Anyone figured out how to speed up the review process after ChatGPT drafts a doc? It still takes me a while to proof everything.
Anyone else struggle with it misunderstanding legal terms? I had to rephrase questions multiple times for it to get what I meant.
Does anyone integrate ChatGPT with other legal software? Wondering if that’s worth the effort.
Be careful about confidentiality though. Make sure no sensitive info leaks when using ChatGPT for client docs.
For those worried about accuracy, I find combining ChatGPT drafts with traditional templates is the safest bet.
I tried using it for wills and estate planning docs, but I worry about liability if it misses something.
I started using it to draft contracts and it really speeds up the first draft. Just gotta double-check everything tho, it sometimes messes up legal jargon.
It’s pretty cool for learning too. I asked it to explain clauses in simple terms, made it easier to understand complex contracts.
Do you guys find it better for contracts or for litigation documents? I’ve only tried contracts so far.
