Not sure if it's stolen exactly but the features and responses are super similar. Feels like they’re riding on ChatGPT’s popularity.
I've tried both and honestly DeepSeek feels a bit slower and less polished than ChatGPT. That tells me it's not the same tech under the hood.
Honestly, I think it's all just marketing hype. DeepSeek might have used open models or similar tech, but definitely not stolen outright.
I got the same feeling. It looks like they just took ChatGPT and slapped a new name on it. Not cool if that's the case.
