For those interested, some lesser-known AIs are quite affordable compared to ChatGPT’s paid plans.
Sometimes I just wish these chatbots could remember longer conversations better.
The landscape is changing fast, so what isn’t a match today might get better real quick with updates.
I've played around with a few, and honestly some are good for specific tasks but none feels as flexible as ChatGPT yet.
I found that some open source projects are pretty neat but usually require more setup and don't feel as polished.
Some of these AIs have different personalities too, which can be kinda fun to experiment with.
I hope open AI or others work on making bots better at understanding emotions, that would be next level.
Have any of you tried Google’s Bard? It seems promising but I’m not sure it’s quite on ChatGPT’s level yet.
Honestly, the community here helped me discover a few great AI tools I wouldn’t have found otherwise.
I like some AI chatbots built into apps like Replika or some customer support bots, but they serve different purposes mostly.
Some AI assistants are better for coding help rather than general chatting, like GitHub Copilot for devs.
I sometimes wonder if future AIs will blend multiple assistant types, like chat, coding, writing all in one.
Anyone tried the new ChatSonic? Heard it's similar to ChatGPT but with some extra features.
I've seen some AI chatbots that specialize in specific languages, which is neat for non-English speakers.
Not sure if anyone tried Jasper AI? I heard it’s focused on marketing content but not sure how it compares overall.
I sometimes use AI Dungeon for creative storytelling, it’s a different vibe but fun.
Most alternatives don’t have the same knowledge base or training scale as ChatGPT, so answers can be hit or miss.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they have some cool alternatives listed there.
I wish there was a simple comparison chart somewhere showing pros and cons of several chat AIs.
There are some pretty niche bots out there for therapy or coaching, but they serve very specific needs.
Is anyone using AI chatbots integrated into their smart home? Wondering if they’re as good as standalone ones.
