Just a heads up, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that help make cover letters look more natural and personalized.
I think some companies might use software to detect AI-generated content but not sure how advanced it is yet.
In my experience, recruiters care more about your qualifications and fit than where the letter came from honestly.
Honestly, I never mention using AI and no one’s ever asked. Just focus on being honest and clear.
If you’re gonna use AI, I’d suggest always adding your own stories or examples to make it authentic.
Some recruiters might be tech savvy enough to sniff out AI, but most probably don’t have time or tools for that.
I used AI to draft mine and then rewrote half of it. Got the job, so it worked for me!
I heard some companies are starting to ban AI generated content in applications, so keep an eye out!
If you’re worried, try running your letter through AI detection tools yourself before submitting.
Sometimes AI can make your letter sound a bit stiff, so just make sure it flows and sounds like you.
I had a friend who got called out for using AI in his cover letter. The recruiter said it sounded too robotic, so be careful!
Honestly, I think some recruiters might catch on if the letter feels too polished or generic. But if you tweak it enough, it should be fine.
I think it’s all about balance. Use AI for ideas but keep the final version personal and genuine.
