Not sure if anyone mentioned, but you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. They got a pretty good list updated regularly.
I've been using GitHub Copilot for a while now and honestly, it saves me tons of time. It kinda predicts what I want to write next, which is cool but sometimes it goes off-track lol.
Does anyone know if these tools keep improving quickly? I feel like last year vs now there’s a big difference already.
Sometimes the AI completions just don't get the context of the project and suggest irrelevant stuff. Anyone else had this?
Anyone tried Tabnine? I heard it's good for catching errors early on. It kinda helps me focus more on logic than syntax.
Anyone has tips for integrating these tools into big projects? I’m worried about consistency when AI writes parts of the code.
I find that some AI coding tools kinda make you lazy tho, relying on AI too much might hurt your learning in the long run.
Just started using AI coding tools and it feels like cheating but also super helpful. Kinda weird feeling lol.
I think Kite is underrated. The AI completions are helpful, plus it supports a bunch of languages which is nice.
CodeGeeX is a pretty new one and I like how it integrates with VSCode, helps me write docstrings faster.
