I've tried a couple of dictation apps and honestly, some are way better than others. The accuracy can be hit or miss but the newer AI-powered ones are def improving.
I use one called Otter.ai and it’s pretty decent, especially for meetings. Captures stuff in real-time and lets you edit after, which helps a lot.
If you're looking for something simple and free, I like using the built-in voice typing in Google Docs. It’s surprisingly good and easy to access.
