Hey folks, I've been looking for some cool apps or software that can help me design my home in 3D. Something user-friendly but still powerful would be great. Anyone got any recommendations or personal favorites? Would love to hear what you use or have tried!

For those wanting something a bit more professional, Autodesk Revit is powerful but definitely has a steep learning curve.
I’d also recommend checking out Planner 5D. It’s pretty straightforward and has a nice catalog of items to add to your designs.
I used Floorplanner last year and it was pretty handy for creating floor plans fast and sharing with contractors.
Lately I’ve been experimenting with Cedreo. I like how quick it is for making presentations for clients.
I use SketchUp for most of my home projects. It's pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it and has a decent free version.
Anyone tried Roomstyler? It’s good for quick mood boards and giving you a basic feel of space.
I tried a bunch but ended up going with a paid option called Live Home 3D. The features are really worth it IMHO.
Don’t sleep on Roomle. It’s pretty good for both 2D and 3D design and has a nice catalog to work with.
I think it depends on what you need. For quick concepts, simple tools are better. For detailed builds, invest time in pro software.
Some apps let you do VR walkthroughs of your design which is pretty neat if you wanna get a real feel for the space.
Have you looked into Sweet Home 3D? It's super beginner-friendly and lets you drag and drop furniture and walls pretty easily.
I found that using Blender with some architecture plugins can get you some very detailed stuff if you’re willing to learn it.
Don’t forget about Sweet Home 3D. It’s open source and actually pretty good for simple layouts.
I swear by HomeByMe. The 3D renderings look really realistic and it’s fun to play around with different designs.
If you’re into interior design more than architecture, apps like Modsy let you try out furniture and decor virtually.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they have a section specifically for design software that often updates with cool stuff.
For Mac users, I found that Room Arranger is a pretty decent 3D tool that’s simple to use and affordable.
