Sometimes I feel the fancy tools are cool but just getting a good drawing tablet changed my workflow more than software did.
I feel like the best tool changes depending on the style you wanna go for, no one size fits all.
Clip Studio Paint is my go-to, especially for comics and lineart. The vector tools make cleanup super easy.
I use Blender for 3D stuff but sometimes bring renders into Photoshop for touch ups. Love mixing 2D and 3D.
Been curious about AI art generators but worried about originality and stuff. Anyone tried them for serious projects?
Sometimes the best tool is just good old pencil and paper, but these apps sure make coloring and editing way easier!
The pressure sensitivity on some tablets is insane now. Feels just like real drawing.
Anyone else here use MediBang Paint? It's free and pretty light, good for beginners.
AI tools are cool but sometimes I just wanna get lost in manual work, ya know? Feels more personal that way.
I mostly use a mix of Photoshop and Procreate. They just feel super intuitive to me and offer loads of brushes and effects.
I recommend checking out some open source AI tools if you want to play around without paying. They’re surprisingly powerful these days.
Sometimes just messing around with different brushes and tools is how I discover new techniques.
I’ve been experimenting with some AI-assisted apps that generate cool concepts or backgrounds. They speed up the brainstorming phase a lot.
Gotta say, Krita is a gem. Free and open source plus the brushes are really customizable.
