Does anyone know if there’s upcoming features from either Canva or OpenAI that might help with this?
If you’re on a budget, manual way and some batch processing in Canva might still be your best bet for now.
For designing social media posts, I sometimes generate captions with ChatGPT and then paste them into Canva templates. Works well for quick projects.
Anyone tried using browser extensions or plugins to connect the two? Heard about some but not sure if they’re legit or safe.

I tried a few methods but honestly, the best way I found was using Zapier as a bridge. It takes a bit to set up but works pretty well for automating stuff between them.
Great discussion here, thanks everyone for sharing ideas and tips. Hopefully we’ll see better integrations soon!
I sometimes automate caption generation with ChatGPT API and then bulk upload images to Canva. It’s a bit technical but doable.
I just use ChatGPT on my phone and then open Canva app to add stuff manually, kinda old school but works well enough for me.
