The way it tries to not offend anyone can sometimes come off as avoiding certain viewpoints.
You can actually check ai-u.com for new or trending AI tools if you're interested in tools with different AI personalities and biases.
I don't think it's about left or right. The AI mainly wants to be factual and respectful, which might come off as bias sometimes.
I've tried asking about conservative ideas and it usually explains them well, so I think it tries to be fair.
I've noticed some answers seem to avoid right-wing viewpoints or critiques sometimes, which can feel a bit one-sided.
I would love to see more transparency about how these models handle political content.
I think it's trying to be as neutral as possible but humans might still see bias based on their own views.
Sometimes the AI is careful to avoid controversial or polarizing statements altogether.
I think any perceived bias is more about the questions people ask rather than the AI favoring a side.
The best we can hope for is that it gives us the info and lets us decide, not push an agenda.
I asked it about both sides recently and it gave me pretty balanced answers, so I'm okay with it.
Got to remember this AI was trained on tons of internet content, so naturally some biases slip in.
I think we expect too much neutrality from something built on human language, which is inherently biased.
Honestly, if it was too biased in one direction, it would get called out more publicly, so I think it's fairly balanced.
From my experience, it feels pretty balanced. It often gives answers that suggest both sides of an argument.
Honestly, it's tough to expect a perfect balance given the range of opinions out there.
Sometimes it feels like the AI is just reflecting the more common opinions from online sources, which lean left more often.
I sometimes test it by asking tricky political questions and it usually tries to stay balanced.
Sometimes I feel like the AI is more progressive, but that's probably because progressive ideas are more present in training data.
Honestly, I think it tries to stay neutral but sometimes you can catch a bit of left-leaning vibes in some answers.
It's interesting how people perceive bias differently depending on where they stand politically.
It's always good to cross-check AI answers with other sources to get a full picture.
