Nope, ChatGPT can’t view pics. But you can describe images to it and it can analyze that text.

I’m curious if the future GPT models will just combine everything - text, images, even video.

I think OpenAI's newer models might have some image capabilities but they aren’t part of the ChatGPT we usually chat with.

From what I've gathered, ChatGPT itself is mainly text-based and doesn't process images directly. There are other AI models for images though.

I tried uploading an image to ChatGPT and it just didn't respond to the contents. Guess it’s pure text for now.

There’s some experimental stuff where ChatGPT can respond based on image inputs, but it’s not out in the wild yet.
