Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by all the options out there. Anyone else feel like there should be a better way to find the best tools for them?
Voice assistants have gotten way better at understanding different speech patterns, which is awesome for people with speech difficulties.
The challenge I see is not just tech but also training and support to get folks comfortable using these new tools.
Has anyone tried AI-based hearing aids? Heard they can adjust sound based on the environment automatically.
Augmented reality for navigation inside buildings could be a game changer for people with visual impairments! Anyone seen these in action?
How about AI tools that help employers create better inclusive workplaces? Heard some are in development.
For mobility, there are some AI-powered wheelchairs that learn your habits and help with navigation indoors. Pretty wild tech!
There’s also cool stuff for cognitive disabilities, like apps that help with memory or focus by using reminders and AI coaching.
I started using a speech-to-text app that really helps me communicate faster. It's not perfect but way better than typing everything out manually.
I find AI-powered text readers helpful when I’m tired or my eyesight is off, they really reduce strain.
One thing I noticed is that a lotta apps don’t consider users with visual impairments properly. Accessibility still needs a lot of work.
There’s also some AI that helps convert sign language into text in real-time. Kinda amazing tech.
Honestly, the most important thing is making sure these tools are affordable, otherwise a lot of people won’t be able to benefit.
