I've tried using ChatGPT for some accounting queries, it’s decent but sometimes misses context or gives overly generic answers.
I doubt it can fully replace accountants anytime soon. ChatGPT is good for quick info but accounting involves judgment and understanding complex rules.
ChatGPT might be more like a tool rather than a replacement. Like how calculators didn’t replace math teachers.
I think ChatGPT is great for quick calculations or generating reports, but accountants also deal with audits, taxes, and compliance which are pretty complex.
Honestly, AI tools can assist but nothing beats having someone who understands the business specifics and can advise accordingly.
