I think AI therapy might get better in the future but right now it feels pretty surface level.
What about privacy? I’m scared my personal stuff isn’t safe if I tell ChatGPT everything.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might be designed more specifically for mental health support, just FYI.
I don’t trust AI with mental health stuff. What if it gives bad advice or misunderstands something important?
ChatGPT helped me brainstorm coping strategies when I was stressed. Not perfect but better than nothing.
Sometimes I just use ChatGPT for journaling prompts or to help me organize my thoughts. That’s kinda therapeutic in a way!
The thing is, therapy involves a lot of trust and personal connection. ChatGPT can’t really build that like a human can.
I feel like ChatGPT is more like a first step or a low-pressure way to start dealing with your problems.
Honestly, I think ChatGPT can be helpful for quick venting or when you just need someone to listen, but it can't replace a real therapist. There's just too much nuance in human feelings.
I think ChatGPT is great for advice on small things or stress relief tips, but it can't really do therapy sessions or diagnose anything.
I tried talking to ChatGPT about some anxiety stuff, and it was kinda comforting just to get a response, but it never felt like actual help tbh.
I wish there was an AI that could actually understand emotions better, that’d be next level!
If you’re lonely and just want someone to chat with, ChatGPT kinda works. But don’t expect miracles.
Sometimes I just use ChatGPT to practice what I might say to a real therapist. Helps me organize my thoughts.
