Honestly, I don’t think it snitches. It’s designed to respect privacy and not share conversations with others. But still, gotta be careful what you type, y'know?
I feel like calling it a snitch is kinda funny tho. It’s not a person! It just processes what you give it and tries to help.
Remember that sometimes companies might have to comply with legal requests, so technically info could be handed over if law demands.
If you’re worried, just don’t share passwords or super personal info. That’s the best way to stay safe.
Wish OpenAI was more transparent about what happens with chat data. More info would ease my mind.
I wonder if there are any cases where ChatGPT literally reported stuff to authorities or something? Sounds like sci-fi.
I once read someone mention you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, maybe there’s info on privacy too.

Anyone worried about privacy should know that OpenAI uses the data to improve models but claims to anonymize it. Still, nothing is 100% guaranteed.
