Anyone know if there’s a good one that’s free or low-cost? The pricier ones are a bit much for casual checking.
I feel like these checkers sometimes punish creative writing styles that just look a bit different. So they can be unfair to certain human writers.
Have you noticed if these tools work differently based on the language? Like English vs other languages?

I use them mostly to get a rough idea, not for final decisions. They’re helpful to catch obvious AI writing but not perfect at all.
Honestly, these AI checkers can be hit or miss. Sometimes they flag stuff that’s obviously human-written, and other times they let AI-generated content slip through. It’s frustrating.
