I tried asking it to create a simple text adventure game. It gave me a decent script, but I had to adapt it a lot for my engine.
Honestly, for complete beginners, ChatGPT can be a great companion to brainstorm ideas and even generate code snippets for game logic.
I think ChatGPT is better for narrative-driven games or text adventures rather than complex 3D games.
Can it actually generate artwork or sounds for games, or just text and code?
Yeah, actually used ChatGPT to draft some storylines for my RPG project. It's pretty good at coming up with interesting dialogue and plot twists!
