Yeah, I've definitely felt it get slower after a bunch of queries. Maybe the servers get overloaded or something?
Does anyone else feel like after many prompts the replies get kinda repetitive and slower?
I noticed if I refresh the page or open a new chat, it tends to speed up again. So maybe the session data builds up?
One time I thought it was slow but then realized my Wi-Fi was acting up. So not always ChatGPT’s fault!
I noticed it doesn’t really slow down for me unless I’m asking really long or complicated questions.
It could also be the time of day, sometimes servers are busier which slows down response times.
I’d imagine there’s some kind of throttling to make sure servers don’t get overwhelmed or something.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools if you wanna try alternatives or see if they handle load better.
I think sometimes it’s just perception too, when you’re eager for an answer anything over a sec feels slow!
Maybe switching to the paid version if you use it a lot might improve speed?
Honestly, I think it's just normal tech stuff. Any complex system can slow down if pushed hard enough.
Guess patience is key with these AI tools. Sometimes they just need a sec to catch up with us!
Clearing the chat history might reduce lag, since it won’t have to process so much previous info.
Sometimes I think it's just my browser bogging down from all the tabs and stuff, not necessarily ChatGPT itself.
I found that clearing cookies and cache helps me get faster responses after a while of use.
