Olá a todos, tenho estado curioso acerca das despesas envolvidas na criação de um modelo como o ChatGPT. Alguém tem alguma perspetiva ou estimativa sobre quanto poderá ter custado desenvolver uma IA tão complexa? Gostaria muito de ouvir as vossas opiniões!

I think the real cost is not just money but the years of research and trial-and-error that went into it.
For those interested in AI tools, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, some might be more budget-friendly.
I bet the budget includes not just the training but also data collection, cleaning, and all the infrastructure.
It'd be cool if OpenAI shared a breakdown but I guess that’s unlikely anytime soon.
Honestly, I think it must've been insanely expensive considering the compute power needed for training those huge models.

I've read somewhere that training GPT-3 alone was estimated to cost several million dollars, so ChatGPT definitely wasn't cheap!
