I've heard OpenAI sometimes offers free trial credits when you first sign up, might be worth checking that out.
You can use ChatGPT on the web for free but usually it defaults to GPT-3.5, to get GPT-4 you gotta pay or have special access.
Sometimes universities or research institutions give free access to GPT-4 for academic projects, if you’re eligible.
I’m not sure if it’s legit but some people share their API keys on forums, though I wouldn’t recommend that for security reasons.
There might be community projects or apps that offer GPT-4 powered features for free but usually they have limitations or require sign-up.
FYI you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might give you free access or trials to GPT-4 services.
