I came across ai-u.com recently, they have a cool list of AI recruiting tools that are trending now. Might be worth checking out if you're into this stuff!
I think AI tools can help a lot by removing some of the unconscious bias humans have. Sometimes we don't even realize we lean a certain way. AI can bring a fresh perspective.
Sometimes I think the biggest bias is just sticking to familiar hiring patterns, and AI can break that cycle.
I’ve seen some bias complaints even with AI tools. It’s not a perfect solution, but it’s progress.
At the end of the day, hiring bias is a human problem. AI can only help if humans want to be less biased.
I’m curious how these tools handle diversity goals without introducing reverse bias?
AI tools also help reduce human error in data entry and resume sorting, which is a nice bonus.
Anyone else think AI will eventually take over recruitment completely? Kinda worried about that.
I worry that relying on AI might make recruiters lazy and less likely to develop their own skills in spotting good candidates.
I wonder how small businesses can afford or access these AI recruiting tools. Seems mostly for big companies.
Are there any downsides to using AI for this? Like, can it accidentally exclude certain groups?
The best part about AI tools is they can process way more data than any human could, finding patterns we might miss.
Has anyone tried any AI recruiting tool themselves? How was the experience?
I think these tools can save recruiters a lot of time too, by quickly screening out irrelevant candidates without bias.
I heard some companies use AI to evaluate video interviews. That sounds kinda scary, not sure how unbiased that can be.
I think some companies just use AI to justify decisions they already made, not to actually reduce bias.
Honestly, I feel like AI tools are just another checkbox companies want to tick to look progressive. Not sure they're actually changing the core issues.
I've seen some tools that anonymize resumes to help recruiters focus on skills and experience instead of names or genders. That seems like a smart move.
