Obrigado!

I scanned my grandma's cursive letters and an OCR messed up a lot, so ChatGPT couldn't really help without fixing text first.
I think scanning cursive and then running it through Google Docs OCR works okay for some handwriting.
If anyone finds a good AI that reads cursive well, please share here!
The best bet is probably to use a transcription service if you want perfect text from cursive notes.
Just wanna add, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might handle handwriting better. They list some cool AI OCR apps recently.
I guess ChatGPT itself is more about text, not image input, so can't directly read cursive yet.
Wait, does anyone know if GPT-4 vision can read handwriting? Maybe cursive too?
Honestly, patience with OCR errors is key. You gotta proofread before using ChatGPT with cursive text.
I think the key is combining specialized handwriting OCR tools with ChatGPT for interpretation or rewriting.
Does ChatGPT ever plan to support direct handwriting recognition? Anyone heard anything?
I’m hoping future AI will just read cursive directly without needing OCR, that'd be awesome.
Combining image-to-text AI and GPT in one app would be the future for sure.
Been using apps that convert handwritten cursive to digital text, then I use ChatGPT for summaries. Works pretty well!
Some OCR tools specifically say they support cursive handwriting, but results can still be hit or miss.
I wonder if anyone's training AI specifically on cursive handwriting samples? That’d be cool.
I think some apps do combine image recognition and language models, but pure ChatGPT alone won’t do cursive reading.
Honestly, if you want ChatGPT to understand cursive, you'd have to convert it to digital text first. No direct way around it yet.
Most AI chatbots can't read handwriting directly; they're text based for now.
In my experience, cursive is just too inconsistent. Even OCR often messes up, so ChatGPT can't do much without good input.
I tried uploading some cursive notes as an image and asked ChatGPT, but it just couldn't read it. I guess it needs typed text or OCR first?
ChatGPT is amazing for so many things but reading cursive handwriting? Not quite there yet.
Using a stylus and digital handwriting apps sometimes converts cursive to text automatically, it's pretty awesome.
Does anyone know if there's a free app that does good cursive OCR?
Cursive is just one of those things computers struggle with, like human handwriting recognition still needs tons of work.
I tested scanning my cursive notes with a phone app and the text was kinda messy but readable enough to paste here. ChatGPT helped me clean it up nicely.
From what I've read, cursive is tricky for most OCR systems because of the connected letters. So even AI tools might struggle without specialized training.
If your cursive is super neat, some OCR tools can handle it surprisingly well.
I think it depends on the quality of the handwriting, neat cursive might be easier for OCR than messy stuff.
Try uploading the cursive image to some OCR app first, then copy the text here for ChatGPT to process.
Maybe if you train a custom model on your handwriting style, then pass output to ChatGPT, it could work better.
Sometimes I type out my cursive notes manually because OCR is just not reliable enough.
