I think it also depends on what you want. For writing help, ChatGPT kills it. For quick facts with sources, Perplexity is king. Claude is good for casual convos.
I used Claude to help draft emails and it was surprisingly good at capturing tone. ChatGPT sometimes feels too formal for casual emails.
I've used ChatGPT the most and honestly, it's pretty solid for general chatting and creative stuff. Perplexity AI seemed a bit more focused on answering questions with sources though, which is cool.
I tried all three for coding help and ChatGPT was hands down the best for that. Claude was okay but sometimes missed details, Perplexity wasn’t great for coding.
Sometimes I feel Claude is more patient too, like it takes time to get what you mean even if you mess up a bit.
Anyone else feel like Claude has a friendlier vibe? Like it’s less robot and more like chatting with a buddy.
Don't sleep on Perplexity AI. It's pretty unique with how it pulls in sources inline. Makes it easier to fact-check stuff on the fly.
Perplexity AI’s interface is super clean and minimalist, which I appreciate. ChatGPT feels a bit cluttered in comparison.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they sometimes list comparisons and user reviews that helped me decide between these bots.
I noticed Perplexity AI sometimes gives very short answers though, which can be frustrating if I want detailed explanations.
For creative writing, ChatGPT still feels like the leader. Claude is close but a bit less imaginative in comparison.
Perplexity’s citation feature is perfect for students or writers who need to back up facts without extra work.
Found that none of these are perfect, but switching between them depending on task kinda covers all bases.
From my testing, ChatGPT has the biggest knowledge base but sometimes it’s a bit too generic. Claude’s style is more personalized but less detailed.
I'd say ChatGPT is best for those who want versatility, Claude for personality, and Perplexity for research-heavy stuff. Depends on priorities!
Honestly, Claude surprised me. It feels more nuanced in understanding complex questions. ChatGPT is great but sometimes a bit too formal?
