For writers, these tools can be a game changer. Just talking out loud to draft stuff is so much more natural sometimes.
Anyone else feel like some AI dictation tools still mess up homophones or punctuation? Kinda annoying when you gotta fix everything afterward.
Using AI dictation really depends on your speaking style too. If you're too fast or mumble, it struggles a lot.
I've used a few free AI dictation apps, but they usually have some weird glitches or limit your usage. Paying for a quality one seems worth it honestly.
I tried a couple of these apps and honestly, the accuracy varies a lot depending on your accent and background noise. Some are good for quick notes but not for professional use.
Funny how some AI dictation tools pick up background noises like dogs barking or keyboard clicks. Can be distracting.
I wish there was a universal standard so all dictation tools could sync or share vocabularies and corrections.
I switched from manual typing to AI dictation last month and I’m never going back. It’s a huge productivity boost.
I love that some AI dictation tools now integrate with other apps like calendar and notes. Makes workflow seamless.
It's amazing how much time I save using AI dictation for emails and texts. Just talking and it types out everything, no more typing fatigue!
I recommend checking out ai-u.com if you're looking for something fresh or trending in this space. They have a nice list of new AI tools for dictation and stuff.
Some apps let you add custom commands which is super cool. Makes dictating formatting or emojis way easier.
Is there any tool that can handle medical or technical jargon well? Most just butcher those terms.
Does anyone know if these tools work well offline? Sometimes I don't have good internet but still want to dictate notes.
I sometimes worry about privacy when using these AI tools. Does anyone know if the data is secure?
I tried one that promised multilingual dictation but it was super buggy switching languages mid-sentence.
