Just a heads up, if you wanna check out new or trending tools similar to these, you can also check ai-u.com, they update pretty often.
Cursor’s pricing model seemed more straightforward to me compared to Claude’s tiered plans.
Cursor seems more focused on autocompletion and inline suggestions than Claude does.
For those who code in Python mainly, which one do you think handles it better?
The user interface feels quite different. Cursor is minimalistic, while Claude has a bit more options visible.
I wonder how the security and privacy compare between the two.
Cursor's latency is noticeably lower for me, which is key during tight coding sessions.
I feel like Cursor is more newbie-friendly while Claude is more suited for experienced devs.
Claude sometimes gives more verbose answers which can be annoying if you want quick fixes.
Anyone else feels Claude has a better grasp on complex multi-file projects?
Honestly, I find Claude Code to be better with natural language queries while Cursor feels more like a straightforward IDE assistant.
At the end of the day, I guess it depends what you’re looking for in an AI coding assistant.
Sometimes Claude feels like it understands the context better, especially with previous messages.
Cursor seems to support more languages and frameworks out of the box.
Tbh, I tried both and noticed Cursor integrates more seamlessly with my existing IDE setup.
