Obrigado!

One time I found this site that let you paste a video link and it gave a summary right away. Can't remember the name tho, wish I saved it.
Using AI to summarize videos saves me so much time, especially with long tutorials.
Make sure to check if the tool supports the languages you want to summarize, not all do.
I use a browser extension that grabs captions and runs them through its summarizer. Works pretty well for lectures and tutorials.
If you want free options, sometimes using the auto-generated transcript and then summarizing manually is the only way.
I found a couple of tools on Github that do this but they need some coding knowledge to set up.
Not all videos have good subtitles so some AI tools struggle if captions are bad or missing.
I wish YouTube had a built-in summary feature, that would be a game changer.
I heard some tools also highlight key sentences or create bullet point summaries, that sounds handy.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they usually have some neat stuff for video summarization.
Some apps use AI to create chapter summaries too, helps jump to the parts you really wanna see without watching everything.
Sometimes the summaries miss context, so I like to skim the original video if it's important info.
I've tried a couple of AI apps for this and honestly some do a decent job. Just gotta check if they support the video length you want. Some free ones have limits tho.
Has anyone tried using OpenAI's API directly for this? Wonder if it can take video transcripts and make good summaries.
Honestly, just copying the transcript and using GPT works for me. But that's a bit manual.
I tried some AI tools that summarize podcasts, they sometimes work for videos too if you extract audio first.
Does anyone know if these tools work offline or do they always need internet?
Some mobile apps also offer video summarization features, but they're usually limited or slow.
