I tried asking it to remind me about a meeting, but it doesn't actually send notifications or anything. It's more like a chat buddy than a reminder app.
You basically gotta treat ChatGPT like a helper to organize reminders, but not the actual alert system.
I use it to keep track of to-dos during conversation, but gotta switch to a reminder app for actual alerts.
Honestly, I think it’s more about helping you plan your day rather than acting as an alarm or reminder clock.
It can help set up reminder texts or emails you wanna send but it won't notify you by itself!
Nope, no native reminder feature but chat-based planning is still super helpful imo.
Wish it could sync with my calendar and remind me about stuff automatically. That would be awesome.
You can kinda ask it to remember stuff during a session, but once you close it, poof, it's gone. No long-term reminder feature.
For now, I use ChatGPT to draft reminder messages and set up my schedule, then input into my phone manually.
For real reminders, I still rely on my phone alarms. ChatGPT is great for brainstorming tho.
If you just want to remember something in the moment, it’s great, but no long-term reminder support.
Not yet at least. Maybe in future updates they will add reminder functionality.
If you need a reminder, better use apps like Google Keep or Apple Reminders. ChatGPT is cool but not made for that.
ChatGPT can definitely help you plan your day but setting actual alarms isn’t in its toolkit yet.
I was thinking the same, but from my experience, ChatGPT doesn't support push notifications or alerts.
I’m hoping future versions will integrate with calendars or reminder apps directly.
I like using it to write reminder prompts or checklists, then I set actual reminders on my phone.
I tried asking it to remind me tomorrow about something, but it just kept the info in chat, no alert sadly.
Maybe one day they’ll add push notification features, but right now it’s just a chat tool.
It’s still cool though, just gotta use it alongside other apps for now.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might have reminder features integrated with AI.
I use ChatGPT to help me write reminder notes but then copy them into a real reminder app.
