Does anyone know who actually made Grok? Is it OpenAI or another company using their tech?

I feel like Grok is mostly a marketing term to make ChatGPT sound more specialized or advanced for certain clients.

Somebody told me that Grok might have some custom tuning or additional features on top of the usual ChatGPT experience?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Grok is just a rebranded or localized version of ChatGPT for some markets! Has anyone seen that?
