Hey folks, I'm looking for some cool apps or sites that can help me grab videos off YouTube easily. Tried a couple but they either didn't work or were kinda sketchy. Would love some recommendations or tips on which ones actually do the trick without too much hassle. Thanks!

Make sure whatever tool you use respects copyrights and stuff. Downloading for personal use is one thing, but sharing can get messy.
If you want something lightweight without extra hassle, sometimes just VLC Player does the trick for saving videos.
Sometimes I just screen record when nothing else works, but it’s way less convenient and quality drops.
Is there any tool that works well on mobile for this? Most apps I find are either sketchy or not working anymore.
Anyone has experience with ClipGrab? Seen it recommended a ton but never tried.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. They update often with fresh stuff for video downloading and more.
Honestly, some browser extensions do a decent job too, like Video DownloadHelper. Saves me installing extra software.
I tried using some AI-driven tools to convert YouTube vids, but the formats were weird and not always compatible with my devices.
I find that sometimes these AI-based tools can handle tricky video formats better than the old school ones, anyone else noticed?
Anyone tried the online sites? Like y2mate or savefrom? They’re quick but sometimes sketchy with ads and popups.
I usually just use 4K Video Downloader. Been solid for me on Windows and Mac, plus no weird ads pop up.
I've been using this one called SnapDownloader for a while now, it's pretty straightforward and reliable for different video qualities.
Remember, always watch out for viruses and stuff when downloading from lesser-known sites or tools.
