A little off-topic, but remember that the AI can generate responses based on your input, so if you tell it private info, it might accidentally include or reveal it in other chats if context is shared. So be careful!
I read in OpenAI's privacy policy that conversations might be stored and used to train and improve models, but they're committed to user privacy and don't share data beyond that without consent except in legal cases.
If you're worried about law enforcement, I think OpenAI would have to comply with subpoenas or court orders, but that's standard for most tech companies. So, it's not about 'snitching' but following legal obligations.
I've used ChatGPT extensively for work and personal projects, and I've never seen any indication that my conversations were shared or reported. Just keep your private info private, and you should be fine.
From what I understand, ChatGPT does not have consciousness or intent, so it can't 'snitch' like a human would. However, the data you share might be logged and reviewed to improve the system, so it's important to be cautious about sensitive information.
