Yes, you can definitely roleplay with ChatGPT! I've done entire fantasy story sessions with it, and the AI adapts really well to different characters and story arcs.

I use ChatGPT for roleplaying D&D NPCs and it works great for improvising dialogue and reactions on the fly.

I've tried it, but sometimes the AI breaks character or gets confused about the plot. I find it helps to give very clear instructions and remind it of character traits.
