According to OpenAI's policy, when you delete a chat, it removes it from your view, but OpenAI may still retain the data for a period to improve the model unless you opt out of data usage.

Is there a way to request complete deletion of all chat data from OpenAI?

From what I understand, deleting a chat only removes it from your interface. The conversation data might still be stored securely on OpenAI servers to help with service improvement, unless explicitly deleted under certain policies.
