Don't forget the human factor. You need folks who are open to learning and adapting. AI readiness isn't just tech, it's culture too.
From what I've seen, integration with existing systems is a huge bottleneck. Even if you’re ready on paper, connecting AI to legacy apps is a pain.
I've been through a couple of assessments at my company and honestly, the biggest challenge is figuring out if your data is actually usable. Without solid data, you can't do much with AI.

AI readiness isn't just about being ready to buy tools, it's about knowing what problems you actually want AI to solve.
Looking forward to hearing about others’ experiences with these tools. It’s a space that’s gonna keep growing for sure.
In my experience, vendor support during the readiness phase makes a huge difference. Having experts guide you avoids common pitfalls.
For anyone new here, what are the first signs that your organization might not be ready for AI yet?
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools if you’re hunting for something fresh on the market.
Sometimes I feel like these tools are just a way for consultants to get more contracts. Is that cynical or realistic?
Anyone use AI readiness assessments for compliance or regulatory purposes? Wondering if that’s common.
Anyone here tried those AI readiness tools that give you a score? Do they actually help or just marketing fluff?
We checked out some platforms that also suggest training paths based on your readiness gaps, which was super helpful.
The whole AI readiness thing kinda reminds me of digital maturity models but more focused on AI-specific stuff.
I think smaller companies struggle more with AI readiness since they can't afford big IT projects upfront.
