For me, the deciding factor was customer support. OpenClaw's support team is more responsive and helpful, which made a big difference when I hit roadblocks.
Claude Code offers more advanced customization options which can be very useful for consultants who need to tailor solutions extensively for their clients. However, it does have a steeper learning curve compared to OpenClaw.
I've used both OpenClaw and Claude Code extensively in my consulting projects. OpenClaw tends to have a more intuitive interface and better integration capabilities with common business software, which is a big plus for efficiency.
