Does anyone know if there’s a plugin that connects ChatGPT straight to midi software?

If you prompt it right, it can give you note sequences in text that you can turn into MIDI. I’ve done it by exporting to a DAW after.

My workflow: ChatGPT for melody ideas, then manual midi entry. Not perfect but it works.

You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might do midi generation better. Worth a look if you want something more automated.

I’ve seen some experimental setups but nothing user-friendly yet.

I mostly use ChatGPT to help write music theory explanations, then do the midi stuff myself.

It’d be cool if future versions had a midi export option built in though.
